Marimedia was established in 2007 by entrepreneurs and Internet marketing veterans Ariel Cababie and Maia Shiran. The two previously worked together in other Internet marketing ventures and saw an opportunity to create an international ad network dedicated to generating publishers and advertiser’s maximum revenue for their traffic. Over 4 years later the company has been seeing rapid growth and has launched three internal business units: Sprintile, ProfitBuyer, and Marimedia Mobile.
Overall, Marimedia connects over 5,000 publishers and 1,000 advertisers to deliver 17 billion impressions a month. Publishers include leading global and local portals, entertainment sites, sports sites, news sites, and much more. Every publisher is carefully screened for quality of traffic before joining the Marimedia system. Advertiser’s also include some of the biggest name in the industries and include dating websites, game websites, mobile content, lead generation, and much more. The publishers and advertisers are connected together for best fit by the in-house trained account managers who run high-ROI campaigns for their personal advertiser.
Marimedia is also the home for three internal business units. Sprintilewas founded in 2010 and focuses on white labels and rebranding products. Sprintile’s portfolio includes hundreds of rebranded products that are sold in dozens of countries worldwide. ProfitBuyer was founded in 2011 and is Marimedia’s in-house developed media exchange platform. The platform is expected to launch in early 2012 and will allow Internet entrepreneurs from all over the world access to Marimedia’s high quality media to advertise on with an easy to use platform to run, track, and optimize campaigns. Marimedia Mobile launched in 2011 and is Marimedia’s dedicated mobile network. The business unit uses Marimedia’s existing network of publishers and advertisers and optimizes select partners for mobile campaigns.
The company has also seen rapid growth in their personnel and revenue and moved in 3 progressively bigger offices in the past 2 years. Marimedia is forecasting an even brighter 2012 with many exciting challenges and opportunities ahead.
